Storm & Bull Shipping AS, a subsidiary of Hagland, is pleased to announce that it becomes exclusive agent in Norway for Keppel Verolme in Rotterdam, effective September 1st, 2013.
Keppel Verolme BV, active since 1957, is one of the largest and most advanced shipyards in Europe and is part of the Keppel Offshore & Marine network with 20 yards worldwide.
The Keppel Verolme yard is favourably located in Rotterdam-Botlek with direct access to the North Sea and can accommodate any seagoing vessel and floating offshore unit and offers dry docking, repair and maintenance, modifications, conversions and constructions.
The yard features modern facilities, including one of Europe’s largest drydocks (405 x 90 m).
Backed by a versatile and highly skilled workforce, Keppel Verolme is able to undertake the drydocking, repair and maintenance, modification, conversion and construction of various floating units such as FPSOs, drilling rigs, bulkers, tankers and the like.
For more than 30 years, Keppel Verolme has carried out and consequently built up an impressive track record in inspection, repair and maintenance, conversion and modification of FPSOs, semi-submersibles, jack-ups and other mobile offshore units.
